It's not. Both sides have their nuts. I do wish the non-crazy
(non-clincally crazy at least) vocal anti-trumpies would tone down the rhetoric though. I'm pretty anti-trump myself, and his boorishness, vindictiveness, pettiness, and now recklessness when it comes to trade are beyond disturbing to me. But I have friends who both in person and on Facebook (on Facebook in particular) are TOTALLY consumed by their hatred for Trump to the point where they do seem unhinged and it truly seems to have personally affected their lives.
I'm all for calling out and condemning bad behavior by Trump, but the level of apoplexy by anti Trumpies doesn't help the cause and doesn't make the opposition seem like a more "grown up" alternative to the childishness of Trump. It honestly makes me think both sides have gone bat shit crazy.
I sure wish I saw a path to an actual grown up (from either party) stepping up and providing a realistic challenge to Trump in 2020. Can't see who that would be from the GOP. Maybe Biden from the Dems? Any other dems out there, other than the socialists who I find equally distasteful as Trump (for very different reasons)?
