If he actually added facts and logic to the discussions occasionally maybe, but it seems he's been limited to only accusations of treason and joining in the childish chorus of calling TK a racist that last few years. Unfortunately I only caught a little of the presser. Sounds like he gave some rather lame and weak responses, as well as trying to deflect to some absurd "blame Hillary" whataboutism. I would like to hope that this was a major fumble in his hope to "work and talk with" Putin rather than be in constant confrontation, and that he was a little more frank when talking directly, but I'll acknowledge there's little reason to think that. I think that's a far cry from the absurd calls about "treason", "high crimes and misdemeanors", etc. coming from the most partisan of hacks that would've criticized anything he said or did.
