Or work constructively towards making a change at the top.
"Elections have consequences" is perhaps a bit of a tired refrain, but it is true. Trump holds the office, like it or not. So let's get to work constructively - pie in the sky statements that "Trump should not be allowed to wield the powers of the office of the president anymore" are not helpful. Neither are comparisons between Pearl Harbor and Russian election interference, which you see Trumpies latching onto with such glee (out of proportion - it is being asserted by two Politico writers, so who really cares?).
For example, the past week's trip to Europe makes me more convinced than ever that the quicker the dems get the SC confirmation behind them, the better for their chances in Nov, which is step one towards limiting the damage Trump can do - and I'm not generally all that much of a dem partisan, but that's the way to limit Trump, so I guess for now, I am.
And please dem primary voters - keep the dem populism at bay. Populism is populism - in the end one is not much better than the other.
