What exactly would those conversations unveil?
The only person who has any (supposed) knowledge of what happened is her. She admitted to her therapist (according to her notes) that she vowed to keep it a secret afterwards and never tell anybody what happened.
So based on that who are these friends who heard the story, and how exactly did they hear about it? Quick note, the one who made the claim has since deleted her social media accounts and refuses to talk to the media, saying she has said everything she plans to say about the matter.
Her husband knows only because it was disclosed in their therapy sessions, so he knows about as much as the therapist.
Otherwise...
They can talk to Kavanaugh (he claims it didn't happen).
They can talk to Judge (he claims it didn't happen).
They can talk to Ford (she has pretty much disclosed all the details she remembers).
They can talk to her therapist (her notes corroborate what she has already commented on).
That's pretty much it. Truth or not, there's no evidence to support her claim.
So again, what exactly is the FBI supposed to investigate?
Meanwhile, you've got a guy nominated for the Supreme Court with an impeccable record...and an accuser who has numerous social media posts supporting anti-Trump and photographs of her at anti-Trump protests.
