VA GOP is hurting on a number of fronts

holding on by a thread in Richmond (the trends there aren't good either).
Both senators, 7 of 11 Representatives, the Governor, LG and AG are all Dems at this point. The VA GOP needs to find a way to speak to more moderate people. Putting people like the Cooch and Corey Stewart at the top of the ticket these days is a losing strategy IMHO. It will be interesting to see if the Ds can hang on to the seats they flipped this year in the House. Comstock lost by a wide margin in her district, you have to figure the others will be hotly contested in 2020.
Unfortunately for the old liners, VA is a very different place than it was 50 years ago (not everyplace in VA clearly which is part of the problem).
