There’s just way too much smoke for there to have been nothing, but was it treasonable levels of quid pro quo (help me spread misinformation and win and I’ll turn over state secrets) - I highly doubt that and god I hope not. The in-between may have been vague promises of “assistance” being exchanged, both sides being careful not to be too specific about what kind of assistance they were talking about. Set up lots of plausible deniability / fall guys / stuff like that. Regardless, there’s no doubt in my mind that Vladimir Putin at a minimum on his own account assisted Trump into office for reasons that the American public really needs to wake up to if we’re going to continue to exist in free and democratic societies.
