becoming an expectant parent... which is not something I expected. I've actually never cared much about the issue, and I've probably moved left on just about every other political evolution I've had in the past 4-5 years. But looking at ultrasounds, reading about baby's progress from week to week ... it seems unfathomable to terminate after week 10-12. I distinctly remember looking at a week 12 ultrasound and thinking "that's a person." Tomorrow makes week 24 and basically all critical systems have developed. Frankly, anything but an early first trimester abortion seems absolutely barbaric.
