Just watched the Netflix documentary about him. My wife was a sorority girl
when he was prowling UW and nearby Lake Sammamish, having transferred there from Alabama. It brought back lots of scary memories for her, including she and her sisters talking about how they all fit the profile of his victims. It was terrifying for them, especially since one girl was nabbed by this creep in the alleyway near her house. Needless to say they started travelling in pairs.
It was also an interesting retrospective, full of pics of Seattle and Tacoma in the 1970's (damn they look small!) and some fascinating info about the fact that the serial killer phenomenon was poorly understood and interstate cooperation in manhunts was relatively new. Of course, the interviews with Bundy himself are chilling. I recommend watching it.
