What kind of question is that? I have a wife and daughter and one of the few personal things I have shared here is an ex of mine was a victim, so I have seen the psychological trauma rape inflicts up close. Its horrible. So dont start.

Regarding Justin, I’m shocked to see this happening. I dont want it to be true for many reasons. I co-hosted a fucking fundraiser for his campaign and have met his wife and kids. He’s not my best buddy by any stretch, but someone I do consider a personal friend and felt like I knew well enough to know he’s a good man who would never attack someone. Its shocking to me and others who know him to see this coming out.

It may not be true. But it may. Regardless his career is over. Even if one of these two proves to be a Jackie. He’s fucked.

Regarding Kavanaugh and the rest of your post, I am not backpeddling from my view that he should not have been confirmed to a lifetime SCOTUS appt. his behavior and complete lack of candor before rhe senate alone was enough for that. I will have you know I did not assume guilt the second Ford’s allegation came out as you imply. Feel free to read my posts from that time if ypu have a different perception. As the facts came in and a public hearing was held, with testimony by both of them, I formed (amd retain) the view that he more than likely did what she said he did and then lied without remorse under oath about it. You may disagree and thats fine. But I domt think he cleared up jack shit and thought he was entirely unprofessional and incredible. I dont think he is worthy of th SCOTUS. Yes, I also didnt like him as a judge before any if this and think he will do lasting damage to our country as a SCOTUS judge. If you think that colored my judgment some while my sympathy fpr Justin colored my opinion of him in a different way youre probably right. But I think the same is true for everyone else here. But if he has a Kavanaugh style hearing where these women testify and he looks like a petulant liar, I will not defend him. I can promise you that. And as things stand now, I dont think he will survive this.
