Polling shows African-Americans don't think Northam should resign

either. Turns out they're not as shocked as us white folks over blackface worn 35 years ago. They're not surprised at all to find racist skeletons in the closets of these old white politicians. Frankly, they seem to care more about what the politician is doing for them now in relation to what insensitive things they might have said or done three decades ago. Northam's policies like Medicaid expansion for Virginia are more important to them.

Heard a commentator this weekend say something along the lines of, "next time you feel outrage on behalf of black people, maybe ask a few black people how they feel about the issue first."
