There was no CNN helicopter. They had one producer and one photojournalist

there. I'm not saying the FBI definitely didn't top off CNN, but CNN certainly does have a very logical and plausible explanation for guessing that Stone was about to be arrested.

Mueller's team also knows that they will be shredded for any mis-step they make, from the left and the right, and they have shown themselves to be incredibly competent with how they've handled everything so far. My hunch is that they would only have used such manpower for the arrest if they truly thought it was necessary (for reasons we in the public don't know) - knowing that they'd get skewered by the right for handing it that way. They also executed search warrants, so that could have played a role.

It is possible Mueller & team wanted to "send a message," but it also seems like that is speculation and spin being pushed by Trump supporters as part of playing the victim card.
