And you're totally mistaken that there will be subsidies to buy US over Australian or Brazilian products, because the WTO will step in when the others complain. He went about this all wrong and got played because we weren't the only country that can export hogs and soy beans. Plus, the other suppliers are far less likely to throw up restrictions. And it won't be just China. The Europeans now know that any US president can throw up tariffs without going to Congress, not just President Individual-1.
