Here's the current GOP problem. In 2018, they lost suburbia big time.

They lost so badly that 40 house seats flipped, most of them with a strong suburban base.

All the frothy, send the black Congess members to their own lands just won't cut it with the college educated Republicans, especially the female one any more in 2020 than it did in 2018. In fact, the reach back to traditional racist language will cement their decision to vote Dem. It is just the decent thing to do.
