I was never worried about Iraq. I was more concerned with an administration

that would go to those lengths to lie to the american people and the world. I did not want to believe that could be the case, but looking back it is hard to believe otherwise. They did cherry-pick. We all know the end result. At least Saddam is dead. He certainly deserved what he got and much more.

It was a bit of a pre-cursor in that the administration did not believe the preponderance of the evidence presented by the intelligence community. Back then, even the opposition party could not believe (or at least not voice their disbelief through a vote) that they were being mislead.
