Spending does not generally go up 8%. The avg annual increase over the 10
preceding years was 3.3%.
And revenue generally does not go up 10%. Average annual increase over the 10 preceding years was 2.8%. And you'd have to believe that without the tax cuts, revenue would have increased by 10%... or you have to accept that the net impact of the tax cuts was something less than $200 billion.
