All it can do is bring evidence. What is wrong is that people are not looking at the evidence, but instead, listening to their favorite talking head expound upon it. Anyone that read the Mueller report cannot possibly believe their was no wrong-doing or that it was a "hoax." Anyone that read the Starr report could not deny the deception and perjury involved in the Monica abuse.

I do agree we are becoming a more corrupt country. We are not abiding by our own laws much less international ones. Our politicians don't care about anything that does not get them elected. That used to be a proxy for what their voters wanted. But these days, "the party" slams whatever they want down the voters throat (via the money-backed primary process) and then voters are stuck with it, because no one will vote against their beloved party. Big money HAS to be taken back out of politics.

Another idea comes from a friend that believes we could start coming back together if every single piece of legislation brought forward by one house had to be voted on within 60 days. I agree with the approach - not saying it is a panacea. This would require the parties to at least look at the issues and hopefully get back to negotiations between the houses/parties. It would also allow voters to see actual votes cast! Then they can decide on the meaningful actions of their Congress. As it is, party leaders can basically stonewall anything they want and all the law-makers is talk about stuff.
