all those things you're talking about, it is stubbornly standing by a candidate who dates back to the evil late 1900s; who once opposed bussing; who is often considered the dem demon of the Anita Hill hearings; and who led the charge in the 90s on harsh criminal measures. Kinda flies in the face of your assertion - you'd think Joe would be gone, and Kamala, who smacked him down over bussing, would be a front runner. All the "woke" candidates are gone. All the non-white candidates are either gone or close to gone.

And the uber-progressives on economics aren't winning either.

Which suggests everything you said about all those dem grievances is wrong. It's the repub narrative about the dems they want to run against, but it isn't reality as reflected in the polls.
