Report and the IG report not strike you in the least? With the Mueller report, 448 pages of distressing detail about suspicious contacts with Russians, and so many examples of obstruction that Mueller himself decided not to draw a conclusion on that charge, didn't matter at all. All that mattered was the conclusion of insufficient evidence to charge conspiracy. Great Don! Good for you! Not the exoneration you and the consigliere misrepresented it to be, but hey, we're all innocent until proven guilty, so you're innocent. Congrats!

With the IG report, the only thing that doesn't matter is the conclusion: there was sufficient cause to open the investigation and the investigation was not politically motivated or tainted. That doesn't matter at all - now all that matters are the cherry picked details they choose to emphasize.

And so the witch hunt continues. Heat's on, so blackmailing vulnerable foreign allies for help with the election might be dicey. We'll just time our own political sham of an investigation into already debunked charges for release when it can do the election interference job all by itself! It's nice - we have a pres who thinks his job is a reality TV show, and an AG who thinks he's reprising Robert Duvall's role in The Godfather!
