At an early age we learn not to lie, cheat, or steal because those things violate social norms and come with consequences.
Of course the amorality of Trump encompasses those traits and a lot of others, less than admirable. They are all ignored, rationalized, or denied by the legion of sycophants. There is something unusual going on in the wiring of these people, at a fundamental level and philosophical policy differences don't quite explain it.
