We need to look seriously at a number of things that we have taken at face value with regard to executive power. We more or less assumed that anyone who rose to that office would have some respect for the law.

Among those things, is that a president gets immunity from any illegalities while in office. After all it is a guideline and not a law. It needs to be revisited.
