Trumpie I work with just said "dems get what they deserve for constantly

seeing demons everywhere." I enjoyed pointing out that he is selective about his recall of the conspiracies that people see everywhere. When Trump thought he was going to lose in 2016, he claimed the election was a rigged sham. Because he got whipped in the popular vote, he launched all kinds of conspiracy theories, and an actual waste of taxpayer dollars in a futile attempt to prove them, about voter fraud. Crowdstrike was a conspiracy theory dreamed up by Russian spies, and he basically got impeached over his effort to extort an investigation by Ukraine into it.

Unfortunately, people like conspiracy theories. Nobody more than Trumpies. Which is why the media loves latching onto them to draw eyeballs.
