So if nobody gets to the convention with enough delegates (seems likely)

how does it shake out?

The only likely way for somebody to win enough delegates seems like somebody completely rounding up ALL of either the moderate or progressive wing. It seems like the moderate lane is likely to stay crowded for a long time. So Warren staying in the race as long as possible is basically all that's keeping Bernie from locking this up--but as long as she's in 3rd or 4th place and no worse, I don't see her dipping out for a while.

So if we get to Milwaukee and Bernie is in the lead, will the DNC/Superdelegates have the guts to put somebody else in on the top of the ticket? If Bernie comes in with the lead and ISN'T the nominee, I think that's a great way to guarantee some of his supporters stay home in protest again. On the other hand, can they actually run Bernie Sanders and expect to win?
