You have to wonder what were the expectations of Trump voters 3 1/2 years


ago.

Did they really think and hope that he would turn the Department of Justice into his personal grudge agency, rewarding friends and persecuting perceived enemies?

Did they understand that he would actually attempt to insure his own reelection by shaking down an allied government, on the basis of a Russian inspired conspiracy?

Did they expect that all of the "grownups" in the cabinet that gave them some confidence that Trump would become "presidential" would be long gone within a year?

Did they realize that these same out of favor advisors who they defended early on, would end up revealing and criticizing the numerous abuses of powers of this man?

Were these the things that they hoped would happen or were there other reasons for putting this man in this office?
