So if that's the case, we better start working on a plan B, because we can't come close to reducing our emissions to the extent needed in the next 10 years without sending us into a depression that would make the 1930s look like boom times, and even if we could pull it off ourselves (along with Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc), the increases from China, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Brazil, etc, would more than offset the decreases the developed world could achieve and we still miss the global reduction goals by a mile and still be fucked.
