With 1.38 billion people (2020 projection), the infections and death rate could stagger the rest of the world. Death rates in Western countries are about 3% of "reported" infections. Survival for many means Intensive care, equipment and Health Care workers. India simply cannot provide what is needed to keep the death rate down. The lock down is the only thing the Indian system can do. It won't be enough.
