way to go for MD Anderson to fly into Hobby. There are direct flights from FLL. Still a ways off from needing to figure out logistics. Need to get a peer to peer consult going between my wife's local oncology team and the sarcoma team at MD Anderson, and then the team at MD Anderson needs to decide if they will take my wife's case on.

That's good to know about the low passenger count, although I'm not sure how thrilled I am with the idea of even flying on a relatively empty plane with my wife and her weakened immune system. I was even checking into pricing for chartering a turbo prop, but if we could get on a flight with only 11 or fewer passengers, as long as we can get my wife an N95 mask, that's probably the way to go.
