I learned long ago capitalism is only good if the Government ...

fosters the preception of a strong middle class and protects the vulnerable. While I believe in the principles of capitalism, it's not always practical. I would like less government, but understand we need guard rails.

That's why I do not compromise on the rule of law, the credibility of our institutions, and integrity/accountability of our leaders. That's what makes America Great. Without it, we'd be Russia ... run by corrupt oligarchs and a cruel dickhead.

Milton Friedman would interpret the last 3 years of exaggerated movement in the markets as incompetent leadership and a gross mismanagement of the economy.
