I consistently said this on the main board years ago ... Kaepernick wasn't the perfect messenger, but his message was a good one. Instead, so many people derided Kaepernick for his peaceful protest ... calling him unpatriotic and a SOB.

How much changed since Kaepernick's peaceful protest? I have a feeling, relevant to this board, the same posters who hijacked Kaepernick's message years ago are doing the same thing now. It happened during Rodney King decades ago.

I believe in the rule of law. I have no sympathy for the rioters and looters. They deserve to be prosecuted and punished to the full extent of the law. However, let's not lose sight of the MESSAGE. There is a different America based on the color of your skin. No one or country is perfect ... but rational people acknowledge it and show empathy. Empathy is a sign of higher intelligence. Empathy is how we continue to evolve for the better.

I'm sure many of you are busy, as am I, as we solve logistical issues in our businesses as the economy reopens in the middle of a pandemic. That said, if you have the time, take a step back and look at the big picture. Don't lose sight of the MESSAGE of George Floyd. Take a look at our country's current economy, society, and health. Is this what we want?
