My bad. I'm just weary of people trying to hijack the message.

You see it on this board consistently. What NASCAR did was great. However, those just gestures. Is it sustainable? Doubtful. Making Kaepernick a hero doesn't matter. Getting back into the NFL isn't his message. It's the actual message that counts. It's Brees correcting the President publically ... that shows he gets it. IMO, ceremonies are nice, but not sustainable. We've been doing this for decades. Empathy is what matters.
