point is correct and I would argue his syntax is correct. "...to dismantle the structures of racism that our federal state and local governments erected and maintained for centuries...." then he talks about creating a system of slavery here. He doesn't say we invented slavery. He's right. To be outraged over this but not about trump's daily lies, delusions, paranoia, and general fire hose of crap is insane.
