African Americans have to take some accountability ... I don't think that's being shoved under the rug. I've head enough black leaders complaining about black on black crime.

However, these protests are about things that we can control. We know of the red lining of districts by "race" ... limited infrastructure investment into "poorer" areas ... racial profiling ... etc. They just want a fair chance. They been telling us for decades that the playing field isn't level. They want us to listen. Instead, we have people denying the obvious, continuing to fly the Confederate Flag disguised as some sort of Freedom of Expression, complaining about statues, etc.
