When it comes to Covid 19, we are currently the global losers

We should look at ourselves and ask what we've been doing wrong, that others seem to be doing right (more right than us anyhow). Many EU countries. Korea. Others. Remember when we were worried about becoming Italy? We may have dodged a widespread crush on our healthcare system (for now, we will be stretched locally), but they sure seem to be in a better spot now.

How fucking stupid are we ? So many others are back to work, back to school. It seems like its Russia, Brazil and us at this point (with a handful of others). if the experts advise it, just put on the goddamn mask when you go out. Better yet, don't go out as much. Don't go into people's homes, don't invite a bunch of people into yours. Don't go to church indoors. Why is this so hard?

There is going to be unavoidable transmission. Think workplaces (meat packing plants anyone?). Think just plain bad luck for many. But there is a lot we can control and we're either too stupid or too selfish to do it. And our President and his enablers are morons (to quote a bunch of people that have worked with or for them).
