Masks are the 3rd most politicized part of coronavirus. 1st is blaming anything on Trump instead of lauding him. A close 2nd is encouraging and condoning protests and riots in the face of health rules. 3rd is masks, primarily by assholes. There's almost never any supporting statements about how effective they are and that they are next to useless to prevent getting it. To use an SJW phrase, "Louder, for the people in the back," masks don't stop you from getting coronavirus. Also, masks have become essentially the sole tactic mentioned. If the same statements don't talk about social distancing, washing hands, don't touch face, and disinfect areas, then it is solely political. "Louder, for the people in the back," if only masks are mentioned, it is solely political.
