By your theorem, they would only be testing at these levels because they have more sick people, which is obviously not the case.

That certainly is not to suggest we should test less by any means. It simply says that if you look strictly at cases, without also looking at different testing rates, you are being less than honest. Which in this case is simply to paint the narrative that we're some 3rd world country handling this so much worse than all our Euro counterparts. Death and mortality rates simply don't support that false narrative.
