IMO it ought to be Harris. Biden (& the Obamas) supposedly like Rice. If it isn't either, Biden should've written it in letters 10 feet high. It was never necessary for him to do it; but you can't act as if you are going to make a historic pick... then go in a surprise other direction at the last minute and not expect disappointment.

Neither Rice or Harris is left wing anything. The non-Black candidate, Elizabeth Warren is the lefty in the field.
