History has been kinder to Carter than it will be to Dubya, Nixon, Trump

and Ford. Low bar, but I’d say Carter is the best out of that group, all things considered and historical rankings tend to agree (toss up between Ford and Carter who were both more ineffectual than damaging, but the other three historically terrible).
