No, merely an observation and a simple one at that

based on the fact that people waving Trump flags and carrying weapons drove into Portland to fuck with equally nutty people with a different set of beliefs. And he stood on the sideline cheering. So it doesn't seem illogical to conclude that his rhetoric, along with whatever issues local authorities have, is leading to instability.

Not sure why we're invoking Joe Biden so much here. He's not the one in office presiding over this dumpster fire. Donald J Trump is.

One thing is for damn sure, though. I have never fixated too heavily on the 'gun' issue, thinking that we just need a little more common sense in our laws. I'm starting to think we need to take a much closer look at what we'll tolerate in this country. I don't think the self-appointed 'enforcers' (mostly doughy white guys) are doing any of us any good. The spirit of the 2nd amendment is not rooted in provocation and intimidation IMHO. We've strayed pretty far.
