I read the first part of the article. The girl in question told him she
was 13. End of story. The picture and the cultural references and how she acted may have painted the picture of a woman over 18, but once she actually told him that she was 13 (even though she was lying for a sting), that's when the guy target should have said "Whoa, sorry.you look and sound older, but I can't go there."
Oh, but I would agree that I don't like the tactic. Seems like some level of entrapment. But I don't feel too sorry for the guys who got caught so long as the 'girl' said she was underage. [Post edited by Late 80s Hokie at 09/05/2020 1:47PM]
