Pick your example. The entirety of Trump’s messaging, especially when


Campaigning, is to create fear. So it boggles the mind that anyone would give a moment’s consideration to that lame ass excuse. Trump downplayed the crisis because he has no crisis management skills. And he’s too much of a narcissist to turn the matter over to people who do.

When he says the crisis will disappear, he is expressing his own wishful thinking.
