False, because that’s my opinion. There’s no cherry picking - I have no doubt that in another interview at a later date, he may fully contradict himself and say he had no idea that covid was so deadly, because he fully contradicts himself all the time.

Just as I have no issue concluding he’s full of shit when he says he doesn’t push fear - he does it all the time. He is the opposite of a president who provides a steady hand. He throws accelerant on fear based and divisive fires, whether resurrecting the FB kneeling issue in Alabama to distract from a failure, or the creeping caravans, or the “hollowed out country” he claimed only he could fix (although we were 7 years into a tremendous recovery that defied all expectations in ‘09), or now, the dems are coming for our suburbs! He’s not terribly interested in providing calm leadership in any of those examples.

So of course it’s legit to call out statements that are completely inconsistent with his actions.
