If we’d had a concerted national effort to mobilize for an election during a once per century pandemic. Chances are we could have put measures in place to plan for the inevitable massive increase in mail in voting. Maybe even followed the model of states that have done it for decades very successfully.

But we didn’t, and with one party completely focused on making this election out to be a fraud for the first time in American history, we were guaranteed to get dramatic examples of problems which the fraud-pushers can use to extrapolate the notion that THE VOTE CAN’T POSSIBLY BE ACCURATE!!!

I don’t know this one story, so who knows, maybe you’re right that it is an indication that we suddenly can’t have any faith in our elections after roughly 230 years of constant, unquestionable elections and peaceful transfers of power that make this country the global model for how it’s done. More likely, it is like the viral chart that I’ve seen here and elsewhere claiming that so many states are receiving more ballots than registered voters (false). Just one in an endless parade of spectacular anecdotes (with different levels of underlying truth) about all the fraud and complete lack of reliability in our voting apparatus...suddenly...this year.

Which to me should be a Catch 22 for every single Trumpie, because if it is true, it is exhibit A of the complete failure that is the Trump administration.
