Honestly- I'm surprised we're having so much trouble with some of this

I'm not sure if it is just because a lot of people just really don't believe it is as big a deal as the media has made it out to be or if we really just can't control ourselves. Maybe it is because it has been so politicized. Until fairly recently, a large swath of the population only went out to eat on special occasions (and many never went out to eat at all). And why do we absolutely need to be in church, in person at a time like this? You know the large gatherings are coming for Thanksgiving...

No way we beat the Nazis and Japanese in the '40s if we had today's attitude / level of commitment. Sure, we're making personal sacrifices (I will likely go a year without seeing many close relatives, including parents), but goddamn. Buckle down and get with the program. Most of us are still doing pretty well.

And one more thing - get off my property! (the acknowledgement that I'm starting to sound like an old codger - but we could have been in such better shape than we are (will be in the coming weeks)).
