..election. For those folks, it had nothing to do with celebrity, or racism, or lack of education, or any number of things the mainstream left likes to tar them with. Just solid working class people who felt left behind. While I am no longer of that demographic, I have deep familial roots therein, both geographically and sociologically.

I will also say that, while a not insignificant number of those folks felt betrayed by Trump's embrace of Wall Street and the perceived establishment, they are still very, very, very disaffected as well as still very very very resentful of the characterizations frequently thrown at them by MSM and some democratic pols. It is not going to win them back to the Democrat side. AAR, DJT lost some votes amongst them this time around, but not all, but it t was enough to cost him the Election. He forgot what got him there
