I hear you, but I wasn't making an equivalency argument...

I call out the current administration as egregious.

At the same time, the moment can and should be bigger than just decapitating the snake. Partisanship has been too strong for some time and with the current tenor, the stage is set for a retaliatory dynamic - this I fear.

We need, now, a more disciplined fiscal policy and that's unattainable w/the degree of parochial interest currently that rules the day.
