“issues” with our voting systems and procedures resulted in Trump losing the election. I think a lot of Republicans have also convinced themselves that these issues will severely disadvantage Republicans going forward. I firmly believe that Trump is fully bought into this. People like that nutty congresswoman are fully bought in.

The line I have heard is that it’s easier for Democrats to manipulate voting because democratic strongholds, where Democrats have more power behind the scenes, are cities as such there are fewer places that have to be manipulated for substantially more votes. Where Republicans do well/ control in smaller jurisdictions they would be required to manipulate many times more jurisdictions for the same number of votes.

Thus I think there are people who honestly believe that we need to fix, as in correct not fix as in rig, the system going forward to ensure that elections are “share.”

The inconsistency isn’t so much and what they say, the inconsistency is that they are true believers in a conspiracy and thus acting out opposition to this conspiracy.

The biggest threat in my opinion is not necessarily the nutty true believers, It’s the people like Ted Cruz who I don’t think he believes this nonsense at all yet parrots it to his own advantage, leading the conspiracy theorist’s on, affirming their crazy.
