There was a string here the other day about how anti intellectualism is a

core value in current republican voters. People that are proud to be simpletons relate to simpletons and vote them in. They only want to hear what they already think they know. Like fraud elections. They don't want to hear those fancy pants Phds tell them anything.

I remember 8? 12? years ago when Jon Huntsman was in the primaries. At one of the debates he said something in Mandarin Chinese and the others mocked him for knowing something they didn't. The party has been lost for a long time. They are proud of their ignorance and value it in others.
