Recommend reading the Splendid and the Vile.
The book covers the first year of Churchill’s service as Prime Minister. The day Churchill took over was May 10, 1940, the day France - with the largest army in the world - fell.
Churchill brought in Lord Beaverbrook (no jokes please) to run fighter aircraft production. Beaverbrook was a newspaper man, but he knew how to get things done. He irritated everyone. The other ministers hated him, but he got the fighters built. Every week he published increasing numbers. He did everything to get more & more Spitfires & Hurricanes built.
In the end, Britain won the battle. In large part because they could build fighters faster than the Germans could shoot them down.
Joey needs to find our Lord Beaverbrook and put him in charge of Vax delivery. Report everyday how many vax have been given. How many people have both shots. How many vax have gone to each state. Measure, publish and improve our delivery system.
We’ve waited long enough for a leader.
Get going.
