Congres and in-Congress life. Thus far, AFAIK, MTG's are only pre-Congress. Does that make her a better PERSON... no. They both kinda seem like shitty people, if I'm honest. But you also can't actually hold the GOP nationally responsible for who the voters of a single district elected. Nor can you hold the Dems accountable for what the MN voters did with Omar. But you CAN hold them accountable for their conduct once they're there.

What percentage of the Democratic Party wants to get rid of Omar and is willing to say so publicly?

I think the truth here is obvious:
1)Most Republicans probably don't want to be associated with MJT but are unwilling to come out publicly and say so for fear of offending the Trump base in their own district.

2) Most Democrats probably don't want to be associated with Omar, but are afraid - in the current political climate inside their own party - to come out against a young woman of color simply because of who she is.

Which problem is more dangerous? I have no idea... I guess maybe the GOP's problem because it reflects a problem with a larger electorate, but I'm also uncomfortable with the idea that who you are can simply absolve you of saying deeply offensive shit (or even being questioned about probably marrying your brother in furtherance of immigration fraud). I'd prefer to address both problems and not just one.
