I don't really believe you're naive enough to think Omar is truly sorry and

no longer harbors anti-Semitic thoughts. She had the good sense to make at least a half hearted "I'm sorry if you were offended" type apology, but nothing she's done or said could really make you believe she no longer thinks those things. If the only difference you can draw between IO and MTG is that "apology," then I'm sorry, we'll just have to agree to disagree that it's significant. They're both women that hate Jews. MTG seems to also hate other people. That's the main difference I can see.

The fact that neither has been truly punished by their national party doesn't speak well for either party IMO.
