I don't see where the demand comes from


I'm in a mid-sized town and they're clear-cutting forests everywhere to put in houses. They're adding probably 1000 homes to my zip code in a college town over the next two years. I can't understand how they expect to get that many buyers on new construction. They aren't selling that quickly either. It seems like there must be a tax credit or something that makes it profitable for the builders.
